Mr. George C Hristescu has been elected as the new USA Taekwondo Oregon president for the 2019 -2024 term.
"Congratulations and Best Wishes to Mr. George Hristescu. Mr. Hristescu was elected today as Oregon State Taekwondo President for the term 2019-2024. Mr. Hristescu is a original founding member of USA Taekwondo Oregon Foundation and have been serving Oregon State Taekwondo as Vice President for past 11 years." said Rick Shin, the former president of USAT Oregon.
"First, I would like to thank everyone for their support. I am humbled by the opportunity and trust I’ve earned from you all and I am ready to start my new journey as the new USAT Oregon President, open and willing to work with everyone, regardless of their affiliations. I am aware that this is a task that comes with great responsibility but this is also an opportunity for me to demonstrate that I can continue the legacy and success of our state organization that Mr. Rick Shin worked so hard to achieve. I want to thank Master Rick Shin, for encouraging me to step up to the plate and run for the position and all of you ..friends and associates for sharing this great joy and opportunity. Thank you all very much! As I am currently forming a new management team for our State Association I would love to hear from you if you would like to get involved. Let’s get to work!
